Our goal is to provide each customer with a personal and professional experience with quality service solutions for all fire sprinkler system needs.
Our History
MIC Treatment & Maintenance was founded in 2003 by two fire protection industry veterans with 70+ years of combined experience in fire sprinkler construction, inspections, and maintenance. Their primary mission was to test MIC (microbiologically influenced corrosion). Prior to this industry identification in the 1980s, repairing or replacing piping was the only course of action. Now, the advanced development of methods to monitor and treat internal fire sprinkler system piping corrosion before extensive damage occurs can be used.
In 2020, MIC employee Chris Kawada acquired the business when the founder retired. They had over a 15-year work history together.
After the business acquisition, we continued servicing clients operating as Fire Sprinkler Solutions, Inc. As industry knowledge continued to evolve, it was determined that oxygen is the primary cause of corrosion, MIC being secondary. This contributed to the change in our business name, as well as adding an additional 20 years of field experience to offer effective and efficient fire sprinkler solutions to our customers.
Fire Sprinkler Solutions, Inc. (FSS) is a small business based in Huntington Beach, CA and serving Southern California. We are dedicated to providing each customer with a personal, professional experience with cost-efficient solutions for all types of fire sprinkler systems.
FSS provides corrosion management, design, installation, inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems in all types of building environments for clients that demand quality fire sprinkler system services for their properties.
